well, it’s managed to finally snow around here. i don’t even know if the amount is an accomplishment but it is the most i’ve ever seen in britain. no, i don’t know the exact amount but it’s been enough to stop me from going to college this week ;D not that i would have been able to anyway. (not so long but boring story). again, i’d like to say that i have been up to a lot lately but truth being told i really haven’t. been freezing my ass off a lot, thanks to constant minus temperatures and no heating in the house (once again, thanks british gas,) which has lead to me generally being quite crabby and not wanting to do much other than stay in bed (or see the bf). the problem is prooooobably something small, as it usually is with boiler things, but us being idiots in this house have not even the slightest idea what to do now that the heat has dissapeared from under our noses. we tried to call them, of course, but ended up putting the phone down in a mildly angry state after having been on hold for around half an hour. sure, that might not sound like a lot but there are only so many times that you can hear the british gas song without going clinically insane. even then, they couldn’t even be bothered to play their own song right after about fifteen minutes.

meanwhile, i was trying to keep my dad awake so that in the 1% chance that someone was going to take us off hold that at least then my dad would be able to talk to them. no such luck, and i ended up trying very hard to watch QI while the british gas line was open on loudspeaker in the background. we soon abandoned the thought that we were going to be rescued from the bg (british gas) hold line and put the phone down. we’ll try and press the magic button on the boiler again tomorrow morning and if that doesn’t work it looks like it’s going to be another agonizing wait in the bg queue line. who knows, maybe for the right price i may be able to stand an hour of the mind numbing tune played on hold.

it hasn’t, however, snowed today, which is a vague relief… somehow. it probably just means that it’s too cold for it to snow. but with it not snowing it means that the bf has no excuse to come and see me ;D he only has to get through what’s already on the ground, which i know he can do because he’s managing work quite fine. haven’t seen him much this week, which is quite sad. only saw him once on thursday cause it was his friends birthday and we went to some restaraunt with him and a few others. nice meals, but it is a bit of a serious attitude in there and if it weren’t for the other boys i think it would have been a bit awkwardly quiet. decent prices if you eat the right thing, if not then they are asking a little more than what it’s worth. not bad though.

meant to snow more on sunday but people keep saying things about snow so i don’t know what to believe, but if it snows ontop of what’s already here i think it’s gonna do some serious damage and cause quite a few annoyances. panic buying time, i think.

had a decent christmas. didn’t expect what i got, don’t know why. got a dvd player and an iPod dock speaker thing from the rents and the SAW dvd boxset and loads of chocolate from the bf. was quite impressed with the boxset cause i didn’t see that one coming at all. i don’t think he realised he had then provided me with hours and hours of amazed elation while watching the dvds, and hours and hours of horror and disgust for my parents if they caught a scene or two accidentally. people have their own movies that they adore. mine are SAW. deal.

currently managing to drag myself into even more conflict with even more people lately. i don’t even know how I’m managing to do it anymore. it’s completely accidental, however. I don’t have the energy or the willpower currently to argue, which just makes me give up at the end even if i would like to keep that person as a friend. couldn’t tell you how i’m managing to tick people off so quickly but it’s happening and i’m just trying to keep my mouth shut now, even when people are screaming at me. kinda have that feeling that marge explains to lisa in the simpsons movie. “you’re a woman. you can hold onto it forever”. or something along those lines.

other than that, things are going alright. few bumps and scrapes caught up along the way as usual but those can’t be helped and i’m sure the people around me would want me no other way. or at at least i hope they wouldn’t. ;3

anyway. better go to sleep.

okay. my iPod has finally figured that it would love me even more by not letting me turn on auto capitalization. and because I’m so lazy, I can’t be bothered to go and reboot it all and re-download the load of apps I have. tragic. I have now gotten used to using the smaller keyboard for msn clients and the like, so trying to use the larger keyboard to write this has, admittedly, thrown me a little. trivial things over, however, and nothing particularly exciting to announce.

went to fright night on Halloween. (at thorpe park, search it up if you don’t know what I’m talking about.) ended up leaving a little later cause the friend that was taking me there had to work a little later. didn’t really matter though. had a good time. started off the afternoon by queuing for the SAW ride. a good one and a half hours later and we were on it, screaming our lungs out at the awesomeness. the queue line was so long they even dragged some poor souls who work there into selling food and drink halfway around the ride queue. wasn’t too bothered by it, more absolutely ecstatic at the prospect of going on the ride again. (it would have been my third time. I do love that ride, though). I ended up buying a can of relentless (<3) and a chocolate waffle. the sugar rush just added to the already fuelled energy from being around SAW items, and by the time we got to the front of the queue, I was literally bouncing on the spot. no harm done, eh?

after that, we decided to grab something to eat. burger king. can't truly admit I like fast food all that much, would have rather looked into the noodle bar they opened a while back, but BK was just sorta convenience food, I suppose. not too bothered about it, managed to swallow a burger and stuffed the fries (in a paper bag haha) into the bag I was carrying that day. I knew I'd probably get hungry later, as we ate insanely early. we then went to watch the SAW movie bites they were showing, which was basically recycled clips of the old movies and exactley the same as the trailer on the end. wasn't very impressed but there were SAW 'pigs' wandering around the theatre that definately set my spine on edge a little.

the next item on the list was a maze. don't really know if this was the best idea I have ever had, but I was still a little bit of an adrenaline junkie and we queued anyway. it turned out to be the scariest experience of my whole life. it was basically a pitch black room with hugely flashy strobe lights, red lights, and people dressed up as asylum patients and doctors springing at you. seeing as my eyes are not very impressive anyway, (my pupils are a little screwy), I couldn't see further than two feet infront of my nose. this didn't come in much use as the people I went into the maze with decided it would be a good idea to try and stick me infront. when I say infront, I literally mean in the lead. the corridors of the maze are barely big enough for one person, so you have to go around it 'conga-line' style, with hands on eachothers shoulders. I ended up crying hysterically, walked into a wall, walked into a 'doctor' (and ruined my outfit as he was covered in fake blood) and nearly fell over in a mental breakdown. not so much fun, really. at the end of the maze, you have to walk past a man in a hockey mask. your intial thoughts are 'wtf' (quite understandably). this is all in red light so you can see where you are going. the man in the hockey mask stays where he is until you get past him. then he starts up a chainsaw and runs after you, waving the chainsaw around and screaming. instinct kicked in, I threw everyone else out the way and ran for the door. I didn't even realise I had punched someone in my group so they would move until I saw their bleeding nose afterward. my bad. I did apologise profusely and he forgave me. (me and friend joined up with another group because we didn't want to go round alone.) I was quite pleased with myself really. at least I now know I can get out of a sticky situation, even at the cost of a 40-year-old mans nose.

we had a fifteen minute break after this to make sure we were no longer crying and/or shaking, and then went to queue 2hrs for nemesis inferno. not a bad ride, admittedly, but I did miss out on meeting some SAW people. I was not impressed with afforementioned friend for making me go on nemesis instead. we then went home. overall, I must admit that it wasn't a bad night at all, infact rather entertaining in some aspects. have decided that I am never ever going into one of those mazes again though.

me and Jenna (friend) have decided that camping in December is going to be a good idea. well. now possibly not due to unforseen payments on her side, (car parts :/) and we may be postponing to the summer. which is a long time away. a /very/ long time away. -sigh.- :/ sucks really but there's nothing I can truly do about it.

in college news, I am exceeding their expectations and achieving great grades already, as handwritten by my year tutor. I managed to pull a distinction in both my biology (animal skeleton) and horse husbandry (clipping and stable skills) so I was quite proud of myself. also, I've been moved up a group in the riding scale at college. there are three groups at college, green blue and red. green being the lowest. I was in green, and moved to blue, having been in blue for the first time yesterday. it wasn't bad actually, I'll just have to get used to having smaller, faster ponies rather than big lumbering horses. my instructor seems to think that this is the group for me, however, and thinks I'm going to do well. so it's not all bad, I suppose. handed my business assignment in the other day and have done some of my behaviour and equitation one already. not due in far away but not close enough to panic yet. quite a steady pace of work so far but I know it's going to get a lot harder.

Heyy. College so far is a bit of a nightmare. But I’m loving it already. Over the last week or so I’ve schooled, worked, clipped, fed, mucked out, learnt the skeleton and teeth of, horses. (and lunged Brittany). The following week is my ‘yard duty’ week, which means, (pretty much what it says on the tin) I’m going to be on the yard all week. Which, strangely, I really don’t mind. At least I can still ride, and it gives me some assignment time in the evenings. But, I’m going to be so shattered I’ll probably just go to bed. Haha. Ouu, and on Thursday, it’s the college’s inset day. Bad point- we still have to go in. Good point- we get to ride in all the other peoples riding spots >3

I’m also riding today. At two. I’m still in bed and its half eleven. We leave at 1. xP hopefully we’re jumping. And hopefully#2 I’m on tom. Because we don’t get to jump at college til after half term.. And I just love tom. -shrug-

Anyway, better go. Love you.

Well riding wasn’t as bad as I had expected it to be. I don’t particularly like the Sunday twelve o’clock group but today wasn’t half bad. I was on my favorite horse, an 18hh black and brown gelding called Tom. An absolute gentle giant that will work his socks off for you with nothing in return. (Can you tell I adore him? XD) The lesson was mainly flat work but we had a few jumps in between and the lesson was one of the better ones I have had at the place. I came away from the lesson with the instructor saying that I was one of the better people she had seen in that group. I’ve been moved up into the two o’clock on the Saturday and will be starting next week. The week before me new college course starts and I’m nervous as hell. Wish me luck!

Well it turns out that the caravan holiday was a little more boring than I had first imagined it to be but there was nothing I could really do about it by the end of the two weeks. Every day we were there it managed to rain just a little bit more and made it a little bit more miserable by the fact that I was stuck in what was effectively a box with family members who where all just as sick of the weather as I was.

On the second weeks Wednesday I had to come home late evening so I would be ready to leave the next morning to go and collect my exam results. Joy. Of course, I had to have my dad drive me, and my mum and brother stayed behind at the caravan with the dogs. It took about three hours to get home, where I was greeted with a much needed smile and hug from my boyfriend. He stayed over for a bit and we watched some stand up comedy on tv until I was shattered and he went home so I could get sleep.

The next morning I was up at about seven and out the door by 1/4 to 10 to go and get my results. It was a little wait and a lot of pushing to get them, but I was pleased with what I managed to get and did try quite hard. It was then a three hour drive back to the caravan.

We managed to get something to eat halfway (ish) on the journey there and then once back we got a cup of tea and that was that. It didn’t take as long to get back as it did to go home but I wasn’t really bothered anyway. I was given a card and some champagne for doing well in my exams and also was given (completely out of the blue) an iPod 16gb touch. Woot x3 Im still breaking into it but I think I’m doing quite well, as I’ve managed to use it to write this post. Excuse any mistakes. XD

But now I’m home and enjoying the comforts of a proper bed before getting up early tomorrow to go horse riding again and then out for a meal to a local(ish) Chinese place that looks quite nice in celebration. WootZorz.

I knew I wouldn’t be keeping this regular. Probably should be, I suppose. A way to rant, and whatnot… Sounds more like “whatnot” so far. ¬¬ I’d like to sat that I’ve been doing so much that I haven’t been able to keep up with this thing along with everything else, but then I would be lying. The truth of the matter is, I haven’t been doing anything much truly worth reading. I’m not one to be advertising the fact that I’ve been doing a lot when I really… Really haven’t. xD

Since my last posting, I’ve been helping out at cub camp, been up to my Nan’s, been.. uh.. Yeah, that’s about it. Cub camp was pretty deadly boring, like the last three times. First day was killer, helping put up three army-style patrol tents in the heat, ending up so very attractively sweating and then having to put up six more tents after. The rest of the week consisted of keeping unruly eight year olds in line, cooking, washing up and making sure they were settled and that they had everything they needed, while trying to keep up with all the activities they were doing. Zipwire? Climbing tower? Raft building? Pfft. Then, at the end of the week when we were willing to all keel over and die when we’d had quite enough, we had to take all the tents down. In the pouring rain. Everything got soaked, and everyone’s temper was very short.

Once home, we had no time to even unpack properly before jumping back into the car and heading to Kings Lynn, to visit my Grandparents. Wasn’t very great but can’t help that. Came back, went riding, and pretty much.. Tada. >> Heading down to Dorset.. I think.. On saturday. For two weeks…. Yaaay ¬¬ Another one of my parents fantastic ideas. In the family caravan. Yaaaaaaay. ¬¬ Spent all day cleaning both the caravan and the car, and now, being completely honest, I am so very tired. You can probably tell. Haha. So I’m not 100% impressed, as I wanted to kick this thing off and beat myself into sticking with it, but now I doubt I will as there will be a pause inbetween e.e Getting my exam results on the 27th, and just hoping I’ve got what I need to get the place I have on my college course. Stress. xD
Becca x

I suppose that there’s one thing you should know about me before I start off on this thing.. I guess. o_o
({Better make that a few things >>;;})
My name’s Becca. That one wasn’t too hard to figure out on your own, but you never know with some people these days.
I vowed a little while ago not to make one of these for a few reasons.

I would not be any good at it.

I would not pay attention to it or even bother to keep up with it very often

… I can’t remember the third.

But that was the generic idea and you can probably tell I’m far too bored currently to bother to explain the reasons why I’m actually doing this. But I suppose that shouldn’t matter, really.
I’m actually surprised you’re still reading. Haha. ^^;;
You have probably got an idea of my writing style so far, but it changes like the ever-nasty English weather, and by the end of this post you’ll probably even get an idea of how so. -shrug-.
I’m an RP’er at heart, and have a few characters that I’ve carried from board to board, and will always stick up for, but the others you could probably stick a fork in their eye and I wouldn’t pay much more attention than a little chuckle or maybe a question of why a fork and not something more dangerous. Lightsaber, for example. Because, down to the heart of it, that would be far cooler than a fork anyway.
I suppose you can already tell I don’t really know much about anything, and generally don’t have very strong opinions on many things. I’m not what would be classed as “normal”, but nor am I eating dirt and running around screaming. In that sense I fit into most normalities. Surprising to most people that know me. I’m very lazy.. No, scratch that, impressively lazy, and would probably not move off the couch for a few consecutive days if I didn’t have to eat, sleep, or perform many other bodily functions. o_o; … Let’s not get into that just now.
I don’t know what I really made this for, but I kinda like it so far. -rubs hands together menacingly- >3 … ^^;; I’m just gonna be voicing opinions, and not really, by the look of some other blogs that have tumbleweed rolling past, getting mych of a response apart from the people I beg to read it. Which means the better the opinion. Mwahaha. :3
If you don’t know what half of the little smilie things I’m using are, ask someone else, because I don’t have the patience to bother to tell you. ^^;;
({Unless I love you unconditionally, and then you may be an exception. But that’s rather rare, so don’t hold your breath o_o;})
I tend to ramble about some things, and am very jumpy around my topics, if you haven’t guessed. I’ll probably just turn to this blog and write when I’m too bored and have been running out of muse for a while.
({Another reason why I created the thing in the first place, I suppose.})

Had a science exam today. One on biology and one was a physics retake. ({Yeah, shut up.}) Both a multiple choice thinger. Biology wasn’t too bad, seeing as we’d just done it in class and things were vaguely fresh in my mind, something about fermentation and something else about… Something. Got a few questions like “Ben says that ‘…’ and Maria says that ‘…’. Who is right?” … Which made me want to headdesk and throw my pen at the nearest person. Poor person infront of me. ^^; But, the paper was done, and a considerable amount guessed but filled in anyway, and straight onto the second paper. Now. Physics isn’t one of my strong points anyway, and seeing as I had the flu when my teacher-person decided to teach the class about what the paper was on, I was definately on unsteady ground. I suppose I didn’t help myself in the slightest with the fact that I decided not to revise for a moment. -awkward cough-. Needless to say, I crashed and burned, and it didn’t go so well at all. I would like to say that most of that paper was a fair guess at what I had to say. -sheepish smile-. Then, I was out of there, found out that all my supposed friends had walked without me, and I ended up having to walk home with the one person in my whole school that makes my skin literally crawl. My prediction for the future for that guy is at least a handful of restraining orders. I know, I’m lovely. -shudder-

But anyway. Better things to be doing ({Sorta}), rooms to be tidying ({Dx}) and life to be getting on with.
Horse riding lessons tomorrow. If I can be bothered, I’ll keep you posted.
({Whoever you appears to be O_o})
Becca. x
